An Ingenious Match Puzzle (30)


There are 6 matches as shown, so as to represent the number 57.  The puzzle is to remove and replace two matches to represent nothing (zero, 0).  You can only move two matches.  There are two solutions, both of which are worth 30 points.

The L being formed by a vertical and a horizontal match, and the V being two diagonal matches.

  1. tragically I take undefined and zero as two separate answers, so answers equaling "undefined" are not valid.
